Liyang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, held a tourism promotion event in Beijing, featuring winter and Spring Festival tourism offerings, on Jan 23.
Wang Long, deputy director of the Liyang bureau of culture, sports, radio, film, and tourism, announced that from Jan 23 to Feb 29, tourists from Beijing can enjoy free admission to the 5A-level scenic spots — Tianmu Lake Landscape Park and Nanshan Bamboo Forest, as well as discounts on hot spring resorts, hotel accommodations, and selected travel routes.
Liyang's local tourism companies signed agreements on site with travel agencies in Beijing and major internet companies such as Ctrip, Meituan, and Douyin, aiming to enhance cooperation between Liyang and the Beijing tourism market.
At the event, renowned tourism practitioners and a social media influencer presented Liyang's tourism offerings including scenic landscapes, hot springs, bamboo forests, and seasonal delicacies. The award-winning chef Zhu Shuncai introduced the cooking of Tianmu Lake clay pot fish head soup.
