China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector

China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (hereinafter referred to as the "CICCPS") was established on November 24th, 2011 with the approval of Chinese Government . It is the only chamber of commerce in China that specializes in serving private enterprises to go abroad and carries out international economic cooperation and exchanges. 

The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce（ACFIC） is the supervisor unit of CICCPS, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission are the guidance units of CICCPS.

With the purpose of "serving private enterprises to go abroad" and in accordance with Chinese laws, regulations and policies ,CICCPS carries out activities to promote economic and trade cooperation  between Chinese private enterprises and various regions in the world and pays attention to the enterprises’demands, protects the enterprises’ rights and interests and promotes the enterprises’ development in the process of participating economic globalization.Meanwhile, CICCPS reports the situation and put forward reasonable suggestions to the government departments on the economic and trade affairs of the relevant industries and regions.

There are nearly 500 members of CICCPS which mostly cover leading enterprises of private sector in various industries in China, private enterprises of various sizes that have gone abroad or are going abroad. In accordance with the functions of "theoretical research, cultural exchange, holding conferences, editing books and periodicals, legal rights protection, business training, exhibition, international cooperation, advisory services, trade and investment promotion" entrusted by the government, CICCPS has established close cooperative relations with a number of United Nations agencies in China, embassies and consulates of various countries in China, chambers of commerce in China, chambers of commerce and industry of countries along the "the Belt and Road", and carried out multi-level extensive foreign exchanges and cooperation.

CICCPS has also reached a consensus and worked together with Chinese government departments,investment promotion institutions,scientific research institutes, leading enterprises,financial institutions, think tanks and other parties to build a platform for the international development, serve to better carry out

foreign trade and investment cooperation,and promote high-quality and sustainable development of the global economy for the Chinese private enterprises.

The 3rd General Meeting of CICCPS was held on June 25, 2022. Both members of the third session of the Board of Council and the Board of Supervisors of CICCPS were elected at the conference. Haijiang Zhou, Chairman and CEO of HOdo Group, was elected as the new president of CICCPS.
