Dayun Group Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Shanxi Tongda (Group) Co., Ltd.) was founded in 1987 and is located in the Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone of Shanxi Province. It is a large-scale private enterprise group that integrates the research and development, manufacturing, sales, services, international trade, logistics distribution, engineering construction, etc. of automobiles and motorcycles, and is a cross regional, cross industry, and diversified development. The group currently has more than 12000 employees and total assets of 20 billion yuan. It has four production bases in Yuncheng, Chengdu, Shiyan, and Guangzhou, and its products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

The group produces over 40 models, over 200 varieties, and more than 1.5 million motorcycles annually. The "Dayun" motorcycles with independent intellectual property rights have successively won the exclusive supplier qualification for motorcycles in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Paralympics.

The Dayun Heavy Truck project invested and constructed in Yuncheng, Shanxi was officially put into operation in October 2009, and has consistently ranked among the top ten in the industry in terms of production and sales. Since 2015, it has entered the seventh place in the industry and ranked sixth in terms of traction parking spaces, becoming a leading representative of China's private heavy truck enterprises. In March 2009, the group established Chengdu Dayun Automobile Group Co., Ltd. In July 2010, the group established Hubei Dayun Automobile Co., Ltd., forming a truck industry layout with complementary advantages in the three regions.
