As the holding subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as SINOMACH, one of Fortune Global 500 enterprises), SINOMACH Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinomach-HE) serves as a national flagship of high-end heavy equipment. It is set up with an integration of restructured Erzhong (Deyang) Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Erzhong), China National Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as CHMC), China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as SINO-HEAVYMACH) and other quality resources in the heavy equipment industry of SINOMACH. Sinomach-HE covers the whole industry chain of heavy machinery from the scientific research of SINO-HEAVYMACH, the core manufacturing platform of Erzhong to the trade and investment of CHMC. Over the past sixty years, Sinomach-HE has rolled out a long list of pioneering heavy equipments and first sets of heavy equipments, which has addressed a series of technical bottlenecks at national level. Thus, Sinomach-HE is highly acclaimed as the “National Treasury” by the Party and State leaders.

With 16 industrial platforms of R&D and innovation at national, professional and provincial level, Sinomach-HE has created nearly 300 China’s FIRSTS, with over 1700 authorized patents, over 400 scientific achievements receiving national and provincial prizes and over 2300 sets of domestic heavy equipments applied across the country.  

As the manufacturing base of national major technical equipment and one of the few enterprises with extreme manufacturing ability in heavy technical equipment in the world, Sinomach-HE has accumulatively provided nearly 3- million-tons major technical equipments for national key projects, playing a strategic and fundamental role in national economy, national defense and construction.

Sinomach-HE has undertaken hundreds of national key technical projects of complete plants represented by Shanghai Baosteel Project. Over the years, following the strategy of “going global”, Sinomach-HE has been committed to the “Belt and Road” initiative. In the infrastructure construction of more than 40 nations and regions throughout the world, Sinomach-HE has built more than 100 key projects overseas through EPC, and has made overseas investment by means of BOT.
