Established in April, 2000, Zhejiang Suichang Industrial Park was promoted as a provincial development zone after the recognition of provincial government and National Development and Reform Commission.
Located on the east side of Suichang County, Zhejiang Suichang Industrial Park enjoys convenient transportation. It has Longli (Longquan-Lishui) High Speed Railway and state road 50 running through, and it is 400 kilometers away from Ningbo port and 300 kilometers away from Wenzhou port. Since its establishment, Suichang County committee and county government encircles the strategy of “industrial county, project promoted” , making the county coordinated in overall planning, land utilization and industrial layout planning based on the requirement of building featured zone for advanced manufacturing industry base and new urbanized zone. The park aims to be more sustainable and competitive continuously by improving the infrastructure, offering entered enterprises good quality and efficient service as well as favorable investment environment, promoting the cluster development of metal and bamboo industries.
Since its establishment, the park has￥2 billion put into the municipal infrastructure such as roads and pipe network and attracts ￥7.1 billion investments inside and outside the county, covering a development area of 4.5 square kilometers. Industrial blocks have been built like Shangjiang, Jinan, Daqiao, Erdujie, Maotian blocks while Yanghao, Longban Mountain and Liantou blocks are still under construction. There are more than 150 entered enterprises, among them are 31 above-scale enterprises, 12 enterprises with above ￥100 million assets. The industrial output value in 2015 reached ￥11.86 billion, forming industry agglomeration dominated by metal products, bamboo manufacturing, special paper industry and fine chemical engineering.
Suichang Industrial Park has a bright future. Following the new round overall plan of Suichang County, “Dadong City” industrial park in 25 square kilometers is in full swing by combining the pilots of mild slopes in low mountains and hills, rerouting state road 50, Quli Railway construction engineering. The whole Dadong block will be a comprehensive new zone collecting industry, business trade and residence together.
