Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. is an enterprise of subordinating to Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co., Ltd., a Fortune Global 500 company, its predecessor was established in 1965 by integrating many old herbal medicine shops which have nearly 400-year history such as ZHENGHE HAO, HUAIDEJU,GAOFENG,SHOUSHENG TANG, YITIELING, etc.

In September 2002, Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Factory overall restructured its running type into shareholding system by name of Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. Its main shareholders are Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Light Industry Group Co., Ltd. At present, it has 2 wholly-owned subsidiaries, 1 holding subsidiary and 1 participating subsidiary.


The company is located in Xiamen light industry and food industry manufacturing zone, covers an area of 125000 m2, with its building area of 45000 m2 (include 35000 m2 plant area). The company has eight dosage forms of production lines on GMP, and has ability to produce nearly one hundred varieties of traditional famous and high-quality Chinese patent medicines of Fujian brand name products including BABAODAN capsule, XINHUANG tablet, SHENSHU granules, HAIZHUCHUANXIDING tablet.
