Sichuan Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (SMECO for short) began business on August 20th, 2010, and currently operates in ShuangLiu and TianFu double bases. The company's main operation base is located in Chengdu ShuangLiu International Airport(CTU),with two narrow body aircraft maintenance hangars;The sub base is located in Chengdu Tianfu International Airport(TFU), with a double wide body maintenance hangar and one wide body painting hangar.

The company has obtained the maintenance qualification licenses from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the joint maintenance anagement (JMM) and so on. At the same time, it has obtained line maintenance licenses from Thailand (DCA license), Vietnam( CAAV license), Japan (Jcab License), Indonesia (DGCA License),the Philippines( CAAP license ) and other countries, which can provide aircraft overhaul, structural modification, line maintenance, fleet technology management, inventory technical management, aircraft painting and drawing, and other professional maintenance services.

Based in Chengdu, with an eye to the whole country and gradually opening up the international market, the high-quality and efficient maintenance service capacity has reached the domestic first-class level, and has become an important A320 series aircraft maintenance base in Southwest China.
